9 Undines

In the SCA, in the Kingdom of Atlantia, the Queen can give her personal token of gratitude to those who have served her during her reign. This award is called the Undine. I am doing a ton of these for our current Queen.

"Double Rose" based on a page from the Mira calligraphiae monumenta. This is about 3 1/2 x 5, Acrylic on velum (skin not paper.)

"Spike Undine", 4 1/2 x 6 1/4, Acrylic, Micron pen, ProWhite and Gold leaf on velum (skin not paper). Inspired by a capital letter I in the form of a Dragon, Umbria, Italy, 1200's.

"Japanese bunny Undine", 3 1/4 x 7 1/2, Micron pen, Acrylic wash on velum (skin not paper). Inspired by various period Japanese prints.

"Mermaid " (Undine) inspired by one from the Hours of Yolande of Finland, 1555-56. Micorn pens, Acrylic and ProWhite on velum (skin not paper), 5 x 7.
