A Favorite Laurel Scroll

I enjoyed doing this one very much and love how it came out. Laurel scroll based on Petrus de Abano, "Commentary on the Problemata of Aristotle", folio 2r, Venice, 1482. The motto at the top is that of House Corvus and the motto at the bottom is from the actual source illumination and translates to "we transcend the stars through genius" (which I think is a VERY cool motto). Done A.S. XLI. This is 8 1/2 x 11 I think.
